Epimedium diphyllum ‘Shiro-chiri-fu’ – Deciduous form from Japan. White flowers and paint speckled variegated foliage, with the variegation intensifying as the leaf matures. Please note that this is a challenging form. We have not yet tried it in the garden. Limited to one plant per order.

A recently discovered species from Darrell Probst, who introduced it in 2010. Unusual in that the large glossy elongated leaves appear singly, rather in their normal triplet form. Flower spikes above the foliage with pale lemon flowers. Very rarely available, and difficult to cultivate for sale, given its preference to run free (but not invasively). [...]

Epimedium x omeiense. Another introduction from China, this is a mid-sized evergreen hybrid of E. acuminatum with E. fangii. A natural cross found on Mount Omei by Mikinori Ogisu. The flowers are relatively large and bronze-maroon coloured. Grows up to 40cm tall.
