Blue shaded pink large cherry blossom thrum, with overlapping petals. This cultivar was raised by Alan Bloom and our collection plants were kindly provided by his family.
Strange blooming, cherry blossom petals stigma and anther equal. Downward pointing tightly curled petals, pale pink on the inside with darker pink on the outside. Unusual form, the name translates as “Aroused Lion”.
A very recently discovered and (to the best of our knowledge) yet unnamed species discovered by Darrell Probst, who introduced it in 2010. It appears however to have adopted the name “Simple Beauty”.
