Palest pink semi-double cultivar of Primula sieboldii. New to our collection in 2015. Our collection of semi-double sieboldii all exhibit a variable trait on the extent of the double-petalling. In good weather years the flowers will show the double nature fully. In poor weather seasons the flowers will often revert to single blooms for the year, or the double petals will be very much smaller.
This cultivar is one of the survivors from a group known as the “Kew Collection”. This choice group of cultivars was deposited anonymously at Kew Gardens many years ago. The remainder of that collection is now held at the Rosemoor RHS garden in North Devon.
