Japanese Painted Fern. Fronds with dark green background and silvery white foreground patterning. Grows to 45cm tall and will clump slowly. Grows best in moderate to deep shade in moist free-draining soil. Hardy.

Humus-rich, moist, well-drained soil, in semi-shade. Tolerant of dry shade once established, so water regularly during the first season and mulch well.
