Interrupted Fern So named because the fertile segments of the fruiting fronds are carried in between lengths of barren frond rib. Deciduous fern with fronds growing to 150cm in mature plants. Neutral to acid rich soil in sheltered shade or semi-shade.

Deer Fern (Hard Fern) Native fern, which establishes well in shady areas in damp, neutral to acidic soil. Evergreen fern forming neat clumps of long arched comb-like fronds. The tough fronds give the name Hard Fern.
Golden Scaled Male Fern Hardy and reliable semi-evergreen fern forming medium to large clumps of deep green fronds up to 125cm long. Plant in moist, shady soil.

Alpine Wood Fern Hardy semi-evergreen fern, with tufts of erect, narrow fronds up to 150cm. Frond ribs covered in yellow hairs when young, which turn black with age, giving this fern its distinctive look. Good quality moist garden soil in shade and away from heat in summer.
Victoria Lady Fern – Originates from Scotland in 1861. Very narrow pinnae on long fronds with drooping tassels of split tips. The deciduous fronds reach 30-60cm and will tolerate conditions from full light to deep shade.
Undulated Hart’s Tongue Native form which forms small clumped rosettes of narrow wavy evergreen fronds, to 25cm height. Humous-rich soil, well drained but moist with reasonably neutral pH. Semi-shaded aspect.
Shuttlecock Fern Hardy deciduous fern. Forms clumps of upright fronds, creating a shuttlecock shaped plant. Moist soils in shade or semi-shade. Likes space.
