Epimedium franchetii OG87001. Found in 1987 by Mikinori Ogisu in Hubei (China) and named in 1996 by William Stearn. Evergreen forming clumps with bright lemon yellow flowers. Attractive coppery leaves when young. H&S to 50cm.
(x-rubrum) Spreading evergreen perennial. Red and lemon flowers over fresh red-hued leaves in early spring. Plant in light shade, away from summer drought and winter waterlogging, but water in well in its first year. (photograph courtesy of Danielle Monbaliu)
Upright flowering, with large creamy beige flowers. Raised by Julian Sutton of Desirable Plants in Totnes. Named in recognition of the RHS show at which this seedling was exhibited by us and caused a minor sensation in 2017.
