Wave blooming, slender notch petalled pin. Green edged pure white flowers, with narrow centred petals and occasional green variegation. This cultivar dates back to the early 1800s and translates as “Snow on Pine”
Flat blooming, notch petalled pin. Deep pink flowers with white suffused centre. Deep pink reverse. A very reliable cultivar, which was raised on our nursery in 2007 and named after one of Penny’s cats (which looked like the Felix cat).
Blue backed and blue shaded white faced thrum. Slender, flat tending to grasp-blooming petals. A floribund and reliable Primula sieboldii cultivar, which dates from the early 1800s in Japan. The name translates as “Autumn Clothes”
Wave blooming, overlap petalled thrum. Pure white flowers. Tends to be lower growing that normal and one of the later cultivars to come into flower. One of our first cultivars, from Martin Nest Nurseries and a very neat and attractive Primula sieboldii.
Flat blooming, slender petalled thrum. White centred pink flowers. Petals slender to the centre, with rounded, bilobed edges. The name is taken from the Arima mountains, the site of a historic hot-spring resort near Kobe.
